Irma Emergency Fence Repair

First of all: we are praying for you as a friend and client of Florida Fence. Our prayer is that you, your family, your pets, and your property are safeguarded during and after the arrival of Hurricane Irma.

Secondly: We have been making preparations in the event that weather conditions become severe enough that you suffer damage to your fence. Keeping you and your property safe is our main concern.

Here’s how storm-related fence repairs work

Florida Fence crews have been outfitted to make emergency service calls to perform storm-related repairs within a 20 mile radius of our headquarters.

If your fence is damaged in the storm and you’re located in the circle shown on the map, please take a photo of the damage and submit your request using the form buttons on this page.

Looking for a new fence? Need fence repairs? Something else? Get your project started with us by telling us more about what you're looking for.

The information you provide us, along with the photograph, will help ensure that our emergency response team has the necessary materials to perform repairs.

Once we receive your request, we will contact you back as soon as possible— within one business day—to confirm details and set expectations about the repair timeframe.

Why shouldn’t I just call your office?

Submitting your repair request online allows us to focus on providing you the fastest service possible. Additionally, in the aftermath of a storm like this, it’s possible that telephone service may be limited. Please use our online emergency repair request form on this page to get the process going as quickly as possible.

How much will it cost?

As you might imagine, repair costs will vary. However, Florida Fence will charge a one-time service call fee respond to an emergency repair need. This amount is payable at the time of the service call. The fee for properties within a 10-mile radius of our headquarters is $75, and for properties up to 20 miles from our headquarters (shown in a darker ring on the map above), the one-time service call fee is $100. (Note: this one-time service call fee will be waived for the spouse of any first responder or active-duty, deployed military personnel.)

Sometimes, a temporary chain-link fence is an appropriate solution in the short term following storm-related damage. If this is needed, the entire cost of a temporary chain-link fence will be applied to any long-term fence repair that is completed within 90 days of the time the temporary fence was installed.

What if my entire fence needs to be replaced?

Is financing available?

Yes! We have some fantastic options available for you. For more details, mention financing when we call to confirm your repair details.

Finally: be wary of scams

All too often, after natural disasters, there’s no shortage of people looking to take advantage of those affected. In some areas, it’s illegal to hire unlicensed contractors. Make sure anyone performing repairs on your behalf is properly licensed and insured. Additionally, it’s wise to check out their reviews on sites like Google and Angie’s List. Click here for more tips on hiring contractors.

Above all, please stay safe and keep your loved ones and pets safe.
